Three weeks ago I received my first request to shoot a Christening (from a client we've done a family shoot for before). Every shoot has its own challenges, and having the event be not longer than 30 seconds - the actual act of the Christening itself - you have to be prepared for anything that might come.
And when the reverend suddenly invite all the kids in the congregation to come have a look and you can't see the baby anymore, you have to think quick. Here I had my height at my advantage, so I quickly aimed over their heads.
With the group shots, we had beautiful natural light on our side - my favourite kind. Little baby Elsa was such a sweetheart and only started getting sick of all the attention at the end of the group shots. A little model in the making.
